• SeaTac Airport Station 2nd pedestrian bridge elevator construction begins January 8, 2025.
  
  Beginning January 8, 2025, through 2026, construction will take place at SeaTac Airport Station to add a new elevator to the pedestrian bridge. The new elevator will provide an additional option for passengers to travel from the pedestrian bridge to the pickup/drop off parking lot adjacent to the station. During construction, passengers can expect pedestrian walkways to occasionally be blocked or narrowed, and access to the current elevator periodically interrupted.
  
  During times where pedestrian walkways are blocked and elevator access is unavailable, passengers may catch the Rapid Ride A Line bus from SeaTac Airport Station to Tukwila International Boulevard Station in order to use the 1 Line.
  
  The pedestrian bridge from the station to the airport will be unaffected and available throughout the duration of this project.
  
  Beginning February 10, 2025 half of the passenger pick up/drop off area will be closed, as will some parts of the plaza near the stairs and existing elevator as equipment begins to come in for construction of the new elevator.
  
  Additional information about changes in elevator accessibility will be provided as it comes available.
• Elevator outage at University of Washington Station. The elevator at the Husky Stadium exit serving the street (Montlake Blvd NE), pedestrian bridge, and platform is out of service until further notice due to unscheduled outage.
  
  To ride the 1 Line:
  
  1. Take the elevator located directly across from the out of service unit down to the platform.
  
  To exit the station:
  
  1. Take the nearby elevator located directly across from the out of service unit up to the street or pedestrian bridge to Montlake Blvd NE.
• Starting at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9, through Friday, Feb. 13, construction at Pinehurst Station will require 1 Line trains to share a track at Shoreline South/148th Station. Trains will serve the southbound/Federal Way Downtown side of the platform.
  
  Expect 12-minute wait times starting at 7 p.m. daily. Regular service will resume each morning at the start of service.
  
  Schedule and Platform Use:
  
  February 9-13: Federal Way Downtown platform – 7 p.m. - Start of service
  
  The schedule will extend past Feb. 13, with updates posted at stations and online.

• Starting Saturday, Feb. 14, 2 Line trains will begin service between Lynnwood and International District/Chinatown. Passengers traveling south of International District/Chinatown must board 1 Line trains.
  
  Between Feb. 14 and March 27, passengers can board 2 Line trains between Lynnwood and International District/Chinatown. All passengers must exit at International District/Chinatown and board 1 Line trains to travel further south during final testing.
  
  - Pay attention to train head signs.
  - Passengers traveling south of downtown Seattle must board 1 Line trains.
  - Passengers traveling between Lynnwood and International District/Chinatown can board 1 Line or 2 Line trains.
  - All passengers MUST exit 2 Line trains at International District/Chinatown, starting Feb.14.
  - Airport travelers should wait for 1 Line trains to avoid transferring.
  
  2 Line service between Redmond and Lynnwood begins March 28.
• Roosevelt Station - Elevator 1 unavailable until further notice due to maintenance.
  
  To ride the 1 Line:
  
  1. Exit the station.
  2. Turn left onto 12th Ave NE.
  3. Turn left onto NE 67th St.
  4. Enter the station and take the elevator down to the platform.
  
  To exit the station:
  
  1. Go to the opposite end of the platform toward Exit A.
  2. Take the elevator up to the street.
• Elevator and Escalator upgrades at Int'l Dist/Chinatown Station
  
  Sound Transit continues to upgrade elevators and escalators at International District/Chinatown Station. See below for current service status during the improvement process.
  
  Exit A - to 5th Ave S & S Jackson St:
  • Elevator 901 to Lynnwood platform – in service
  • Elevator 902 to Federal Way platform – in service
  • Escalator 901 from Lynnwood platform – in service
  • Escalator 902 from Federal Way platform – in service
  
  Exit B – to 5th Ave S & King St:
  • Elevator 904 to Federal Way platform – Currently out of service (Updated 10/20)
  • Escalator 903 from Lynnwood platform – out of service
  • Escalator 904 from Federal Way platform – out of service
  • Elevator 903 to Lynnwood platform – in service
  • Southeast stairwell to/from Lynnwood platform – closed
