• Starting Monday, March 16, Sound Transit will close Kent Station’s northwest Sounder surface parking lot.
  
  The only available spots for this lot will be three ADA parking spots. This closure will last the duration of this project phase. We expect this phase to be completed in December 2026. We encourage drivers to use the existing Kent garage at W Smith St and 1st Ave N.

• Sound Transit is testing real-time Sounder arrival information on overhead signs.
  
  Real-time arrival information is being tested on signs at Sounder stations. At times, signs may display inaccurate information due to testing. Trip planner data may also be inaccurate during this time; Sounder schedules are the most reliable source of information about arrival times.
• Sounder will operate special event service for the FIFA World Cup match between Egypt and Iran on Friday, June 26.
  
  Passengers traveling on June 26 are encouraged to review schedules carefully. For the latest service information and updates, please check Rider Alerts before traveling.
  
  S Line Service
  A special event train will operate from Lakewood to Seattle:
  Train 1600
  - Departs Lakewood: 5:16 p.m.
  - Arrives Seattle King Street Station: 6:32 p.m.
  - Makes all regular S Line stops
  
  A special event train will operate from Seattle to Lakewood:
  Train 1601
  - Departs Seattle (King Street Station – Track 4) approximately 60 minutes after the conclusion of the match (estimated departure: 11 p.m.)
  - Stops at all S Line stations
  
  - Following the match, Sound Transit will issue an additional Rider Alert with the official departure time for post-match service.
• Due to crowding, bicycles and scooters are not permitted on board Sounder trains on World Cup match days
