- Sounder will operate special event service for the FIFA World Cup match between Belgium and Egypt on Monday, June 15.
Passengers traveling on June 15 are encouraged to review schedules carefully. Select train schedules will be modified to support FIFA World Cup event service. For the latest service information and updates, please check Rider Alerts before traveling.
N Line Service
A special event train will operate from Everett to Seattle:
Train 1801
- Departs Everett: 9:45 a.m.
- Arrives Seattle King Street Station: 10:44 a.m.
- Makes all regular N Line stops
A special post-match train will also operate:
Train 1800
- Departs Seattle King Street Station approximately 60 minutes after the conclusion of the match (estimated departure around 3 p.m.)
- Makes all regular N Line stops.
Please note:
- Additional schedule adjustments may be necessary depending on equipment availability. Any changes to regular N Line service will be communicated through Rider Alerts, station announcements, and onboard announcements when they are confirmed.
- Following the match, Sound Transit will issue an additional Rider Alert with the official departure time for post-match service.
S Line Service
A special event train will operate from Lakewood to Seattle:
Train 1600
- Departs Lakewood: 9:26 a.m.
- Arrives Seattle King Street Station: 10:42 a.m.
- Makes all regular S Line stops
Please Note:
- Regular Train 1518 (10:11 a.m. departure from Lakewood) will be canceled. Bus service will be available for passengers who arrive expecting to board Train 1518.
- Following the match, S Line passengers will use regularly scheduled afternoon Sounder service. No special post-match S Line train will operate. - Everett Station - Elevator 1 unavailable until further notice due to unscheduled outage.
To ride the Sounder:
Passengers with a vehicle:
1. Take the elevator down to return to the parking lot (Park & Ride C).
2. Return to your vehicle.
3. Travel to Park & Ride B for access to Everett Station.
Passengers without a vehicle*:
1. Take the elevator down to return to the parking lot (Park & Ride C).
2. Exit the parking lot and turn left on Hill Ave.
3. Turn left on Pacific Ave and continue west.
4. Turn left on Smith Ave and continue south.
5. Enter Everett Station (Smith Ave & 32nd St).
*Note: This detour includes approximately 0.6 miles of additional travel and includes changes in elevation.
To exit the station:
To Park & Ride Lot C:
1. Turn right on Smith Ave.
2. Continue north on Smith Ave to Pacific Ave.
3. Turn right on Pacific Ave and continue east.
4. Turn right onto Hill Ave.
5. Enter the Park & Ride Lot C. - Rail Plus program suspended until July 13
The Rail Plus program along the Sounder N Line is suspended until July 13 due to increased Amtrak travel demand associated with the World Cup. Passengers should plan to use regularly scheduled Sounder N Line trains during this time. - Sound Transit is testing real-time Sounder arrival information on overhead signs.
Real-time arrival information is being tested on signs at Sounder stations. At times, signs may display inaccurate information due to testing. Trip planner data may also be inaccurate during this time; Sounder schedules are the most reliable source of information about arrival times.
