• Star Lake Station Garage - Elevator 2 unavailable until further notice due to maintenance.
  
  To ride the 1 Line:
  
  1. Take the adjacent elevator to the station entrance level (floor 3).
  2. Enter the station through Exit A.
  3. Take the elevator or the ramp to the platforms.
  
  To exit the station:
  
  1. Take the adjacent elevator to the street level.
  2. Exit the garage.
• University of Washington Station is inaccessible to riders requiring elevator service due to unscheduled outage. See below for alternate route information.
  
  Riders requiring elevator service must board at another station.
  
  To ride the 1 Line:
  
  1. Go to King County Metro Bus Bay 3 at NE Pacific Pl & Montlake Blvd NE.
  2. Take route 44 to Brooklyn Ave NE & E 43rd St for U District Station.
  3. Street level elevators at U District Station are located on Brooklyn Ave NE at NE 43rd St or NE 45th St.
  
  Riders requiring elevator service CANNOT exit from the platform.
  
  To exit the station:
  
  1. Board the 1 Line toward Northgate.
  2. Exit the 1 Line at U District Station.
  3. Go to King County Metro Bus Bay 3 at University Way NE & NE 45th St.
  4. Take route 44 to Pacific Pl & NE Pacific St to return to University of Washington Station.
• Escalator upgrades at Int'l Dist/Chinatown Station
  
  Sound Transit continues to upgrade escalators at International District/Chinatown Station. See below for current service status during the improvement process.
  
  Exit B – to 5th Ave S & King St:
  
  • Escalator 903 from Lynnwood platform – out of service
  • Escalator 904 from Federal Way platform – out of service
  
  Passengers who need assistance while at a Sound Transit station, can call or text Security at (206) 398-5268.
• From 6:30 a.m. on Monday, May 11, to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, Elevator 1 at Tukwila Int'l Blvd Station will be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance. This station will have no elevator access between the surface level and the mezzanine.
  
  Passengers requiring elevator service will need to go to another station.
  
  To ride the 1 Line:
  
  1. Go to Bus Bay 1.
  2. Take King County Metro RapidRide A Line southbound to International Blvd & S 176th St for SeaTac/Airport Station.
  3. Take the elevator near Bus Bay 1 up to the pedestrian bridge to enter the station.
  
  To exit the station from the Lynnwood platform:
  
  1. Take the elevator down to the mezzanine level.
  2. Cross the mezzanine, following signs toward Federal Way Downtown.
  3. Take the elevator up to the Federal Way platform.
  4. Board the 1 Line.
  5. Exit the 1 Line at SeaTac/Airport Station.
  6. Go to the King County Metro bus stop at Int'l Blvd & S 176th St.
  7. Take northbound King County Metro RapidRide A Line to Tukwila International Blvd Station.
  
  To exit the station from the Federal Way platform:
  
  1. Board the 1 Line.
  2. Exit the 1 Line at SeaTac/Airport Station.
  3. Go to the KCM bus stop at Int'l Blvd & S 176th St.
  4. Take northbound KCM RapidRide A Line to Tukwila International Blvd Station.
• Capitol Hill Station elevator 1 out of service due to scheduled maintenance. The elevator at the E Denny Way exit serving the street, South Mezzanine, and platform is out of service. See below for alternate route information.
  
  To ride the 1 Line and 2 Line from the street:
  
  1. Go to Broadway Ave E and turn right toward E John St.
  2. Enter the station at the corner of E John St and Broadway Ave E.
  3. Take the street level elevator down to the North Mezzanine for elevator access to the platform.
  
  To ride the 1 Line and 2 Line from the South Mezzanine:
  
  1. Take the pedestrian walkway toward the west exit.
  2. Take elevator up to the street.
  3. Turn left on Broadway Ave E.
  4. Enter the station at the corner of E John St and Broadway Ave E.
  5. Take the street level elevator down to the North Mezzanine for elevator access to the platform.
  
  To exit the station from the platform:
  
  1. Go to the opposite end of the platform toward the E John St exit.
  2. Take the platform elevator to the North Mezzanine.
  3. Take the elevator at the North Mezzanine up to the street (E John St & Broadway Ave E).
• SeaTac Airport Station 2nd pedestrian bridge elevator construction begins January 8, 2025.
  
  Beginning January 8, 2025, through 2026, construction will take place at SeaTac Airport Station to add a new elevator to the pedestrian bridge. The new elevator will provide an additional option for passengers to travel from the pedestrian bridge to the pickup/drop off parking lot adjacent to the station. During construction, passengers can expect pedestrian walkways to occasionally be blocked or narrowed, and access to the current elevator periodically interrupted.
  
  During times where pedestrian walkways are blocked and elevator access is unavailable, passengers may catch the Rapid Ride A Line bus from SeaTac Airport Station to Tukwila International Boulevard Station in order to use the 1 Line.
  
  The pedestrian bridge from the station to the airport will be unaffected and available throughout the duration of this project.
  
  Beginning February 10, 2025 half of the passenger pick up/drop off area will be closed, as will some parts of the plaza near the stairs and existing elevator as equipment begins to come in for construction of the new elevator.
  
  Additional information about changes in elevator accessibility will be provided as it comes available.
• Shuttle buses are replacing 1 Line trains between Rainier Beach Station and SeaTac/Airport Station from 4 a.m. on Saturday, May 9 through end of service on Sunday, May 10 due to scheduled maintenance.
  
  1 Line trains are operating from Lynnwood City Center Station to Rainier Beach Station and from SeaTac/Airport Station to Federal Way Station. Tukwila Int'l Blvd Station will remain closed during this disruption.
  
  Trains arrivals will vary:
  
  -Trains from Lynnwood City Center to Int'l District/Chinatown are arriving every 5 minutes.
  -Trains from Int'l District/Chinatown to Rainier Beach are arriving every 10 minutes.
  -Trains from SeaTac/Airport to Federal Way are arriving every 10 minutes.
  
  Evening train times will run normal weekend service: Trains will arrive every 12 minutes from 9-11 p.m. and 16 minutes from 11 p.m. to last train.
  
  At Rainier Beach Station, please board all trains on the platform to Lynnwood City Center Station.
  
  At SeaTac/Airport Station, please board all trains on the platform to Federal Way Downtown Station.
  
  Please follow in-station signage and train signage to ensure that you board the correct train as platforms may change due to operational needs.
  
  From Rainier Beach to SeaTac/Airport station, 1 Line Shuttle buses are arriving about every 10 minutes. Please use 1 Line Shuttle stop signs to identify where to get on and off buses.
