• SeaTac Airport Station 2nd pedestrian bridge elevator construction begins January 8, 2025.
  
  Beginning January 8, 2025, through 2026, construction will take place at SeaTac Airport Station to add a new elevator to the pedestrian bridge. The new elevator will provide an additional option for passengers to travel from the pedestrian bridge to the pickup/drop off parking lot adjacent to the station. During construction, passengers can expect pedestrian walkways to occasionally be blocked or narrowed, and access to the current elevator periodically interrupted.
  
  During times where pedestrian walkways are blocked and elevator access is unavailable, passengers may catch the Rapid Ride A Line bus from SeaTac Airport Station to Tukwila International Boulevard Station in order to use the 1 Line.
  
  The pedestrian bridge from the station to the airport will be unaffected and available throughout the duration of this project.
  
  Beginning February 10, 2025 half of the passenger pick up/drop off area will be closed, as will some parts of the plaza near the stairs and existing elevator as equipment begins to come in for construction of the new elevator.
  
  Additional information about changes in elevator accessibility will be provided as it comes available.
• 2 Line trains have begun service between Lynnwood and International District/Chinatown. Passengers traveling south of International District/Chinatown must board 1 Line trains.
  
  Between Feb. 14 and March 27, passengers can board 2 Line trains between Lynnwood and International District/Chinatown. All passengers must exit at International District/Chinatown and board 1 Line trains to travel further south during final testing.
  
  - Pay attention to train head signs.
  - Passengers traveling south of downtown Seattle must board 1 Line trains.
  - Passengers traveling between Lynnwood and International District/Chinatown can board 1 Line or 2 Line trains.
  - All passengers MUST exit 2 Line trains at International District/Chinatown, starting Feb.14.
  - Airport travelers should wait for 1 Line trains to avoid transferring.
  
  2 Line service between Redmond and Lynnwood begins March 28.
• Angle Lake Station Garage - Elevator 1 unavailable until further notice due to unscheduled outage.

• Kraken Hockey today at Climate Pledge Arena, start time 7 p.m. Please plan ahead for additional travel time.

  Please plan ahead for additional travel time and anticipate crowds in stations, on platforms, in trains, and in parking facilities. On game days, parking facilities fill up quickly and earlier in the day. Plan accordingly to ensure you can secure parking.
  
• Elevator and Escalator upgrades at Int'l Dist/Chinatown Station
  
  Sound Transit continues to upgrade elevators and escalators at International District/Chinatown Station. See below for current service status during the improvement process.

  • Elevator 901 to Lynnwood platform – in service
  • Elevator 902 to Federal Way platform – in service
  • Escalator 901 from Lynnwood platform – in service

• Update: Link Light Rail service reductions begin tonight at 10 p.m.
  
  Starting today at 10 p.m., there are several changes to Link light rail service in accommodation of Pinehurst Station construction:
  
  -Between Lynnwood City Center and Northgate stations, trains will run every 16 minutes. Trains between Northgate and International District/Chinatown will run every 8 minutes. Regular service will resume each morning.
  
  -After 10:15 p.m., the 2 Line will stop service from Northgate to Lynnwood. All Lynnwood-bound 2 Line passengers must exit at Northgate and transfer to a Lynnwood-bound 1 Line train.
  
  -From 11 p.m. to the end of service, all trains at Shoreline South Station will serve the Federal Way-bound side of the platform.

• University of Washington Station - Elevator 2 unavailable until further notice due to unscheduled outage.
  
  To ride the 1 Line:
  
  1. Take the elevator located directly across from the out of service unit down to the platform.
  
  To exit the station:
  
  1. Take the nearby elevator located directly across from the out of service unit up to the street or pedestrian bridge to Montlake Blvd NE.
• On March 3-5, from 10 p.m. to the end of service, shuttle buses will replace trains between Lynnwood City Center and Northgate.
  
  Train service between Northgate and Federal Way Downtown stations:
  
  Northbound to Lynnwood City Center
  - The last 1 Line northbound train serving all stations will depart from Federal Way Downtown Station at 8:48 p.m., reaching Northgate Station at 10:07 p.m.
  - The last 2 Line northbound train serving all stations will depart from ID/Chinatown Station at 9:45 p.m., reaching Northgate Station at 10:07 p.m.
  
  Southbound from Lynnwood City Center
  - The last 1 Line train southbound serving all stations will depart Lynnwood City Center at 10:38 p.m.
  - The last 2 Line train southbound serving all stations will depart Lynnwood City Center at 10:30 p.m.
  
  1 Line shuttle buses between Lynnwood City Center and Northgate will run every 10 minutes.
