- 1 Line trains are sharing one track from SeaTac/Airport Station to Angle Lake Station from Sunday, June 2 through Friday, June 21 at 10:00 p.m. due to planned maintenance activity. Please board all trains on the platform to Angle Lake.
A train will run every 15 - 20 minutes between Angle Lake Station and SeaTac/Airport Station. All passengers who need to continue north from SeaTac/Airport Station must transfer at SeaTac/Airport Station using the Angle Lake platform to continue towards Northgate.
An alternative option for passengers would be taking KCM RapidRIde A line, which runs every 10 minutes and serves Angle Lake, SeaTac/Airport, and Tukwila International Blvd. stations. Link passengers who opt to take the A Line will need to pay for this fare during the single tracking operations.

Angle Lake - University Street North Mezzanine elevators to Benaroya Hall lobby reduced service hours in 2024
The University Street elevators serving the north mezzanine to the Benaroya Hall lobby, near Exit A2, will have reduced hours for public use beginning Tuesday, January 2, 2024. The elevators will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, except holidays.
On certain weekends and evenings, the Benaroya Hall Boeing Gallery will offer access to University Street Station from 2.5 hours prior to any public event through its conclusion. See the Seattle Symphony’s calendar of Benaroya Hall events for dates and times of public events.
The elevators will be in service at the specified times. Please use alternate elevators when these elevators are not in service. - Late night rider information from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to Northgate Station.
For service to Northgate via downtown Seattle, from Seattle -Tacoma International Airport:
On weekdays and Saturday, the last train to Northgate Station with service through downtown Seattle departs SeaTac/Airport Station at about 11:58 p.m. All remaining trains will terminate at Beacon Hill Station.
On Sunday’s, the last train to Northgate Station with service through downtown Seattle departs SeaTac/Airport Station at about 11:13 p.m. All remaining trains will terminate at Beacon Hill Station.
Passengers are recommended to exit at Mount Baker Station and use the following King County Metro Routes to travel towards Northgate Station:
• Passengers requiring service to downtown Seattle, please take King County Metro Route 7.
• Passengers requiring service to Capitol Hill Station, please take King County Metro Route 7 to 3rd Avenue and Pike Street, then transfer to King County Metro Route 49 at Pike Street and 4th Avenue.
• Passengers requiring service to University of - New Variable Messaging Signs will be installed at University Washington Station beginning on Monday, April 8.
New signs will help better communicate service information to passengers. Information displayed on signs at the stations may not be viewable during installation and testing.
There should be minimal impact on how a passenger navigates through the station platform and entry to the station.
University Washington Station scheduled installation: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., 4/8 until 6/14.
This schedule may be subject to change and updates will be provided when available. - Sound Transit has started checking fares on the downtown Seattle platforms.
Beginning June 3rd, Sound Transit Fare Ambassadors have started checking fares within the “fare paid zones,” in our downtown Seattle stations.

Westlake (to Northgate) - Elevator outage at Pioneer Square Station. The North Mezzanine is inaccessible to passengers requiring elevator service. See below for alternate route information.
To ride the 1 Line to Northgate:
1. Exit the station and continue on 3rd Ave toward James St.
2. Enter the station using the elevator at 3rd Ave & Yesler Way.
3. Take the elevator at the South Mezzanine down to the Angle Lake platform.
4. Go to the opposite end of the platform toward Exit A.
5. Take the elevator up to the North Mezzanine.
6. Cross the North Mezzanine.
7. Take the elevator down to the Northgate platform.
To ride the 1 Line to Angle Lake:
1. Exit the station and continue on 3rd Ave toward James St.
2. Enter the station using the elevator at 3rd Ave & Yesler Way.
3. Take the elevator at the South Mezzanine down to the Angle Lake platform
To exit the station:
1. Go to the opposite end of the platform toward Exit A.
2. Take the elevator up to the South Mezzanine.
3. Cross the South Mezzanine.
4. Take the elevator down to the Angle Lake platform.
5. Go to the opposite end of the platform toward Exit C.
6. Take the elevator up to the North - Due to construction activity, 1 line trains are ending at SeaTac/Airport. For service to Angle Lake, ride to SeaTac/Airport and change trains.
- Int'l Dist/Chinatown Station announcement: Elevator 901 will be out of service until further notice due to scheduled maintenance
Until maintenance on Elevator 901 concludes, all passengers requiring elevator service will need to use Elevator 903 located on the south end of the platform near entrance B. - New Variable Messaging Signs will be installed at University Street Station beginning on Monday, May 13.

This schedule may be subject to change and updates will be provided when available. - Elevator outage at Westlake Station. The elevator serving the Northgate platform and mezzanine near Exit C is out of service.
To ride the 1 Line to Northgate:
1. Go to the opposite end of the mezzanine toward Exit A.
2. Take the elevator down to the Northgate platform.
To exit the station:
1. Go to the opposite end of the platform.
2. Take the elevator up to the mezzanine.
3. Continue to the desired exit. - Northgate Station Garage Partial Parking Closure
Several parking stalls at Northgate Station Garage are closed off until further notice due to water intrusion issues. These stalls will be closed off until water intrusion issues are resolved to minimize vehicle damage. - The University Street Station entrance at 2nd Avenue (Exit B) will experience intermittent closures to allow for new messaging sign installation from June 3 to June7.
This closure will not impact the elevator at this entrance.
Please use the alternate entrances located on 3rd and University Street (Exit A1) or 3rd and Seneca Street (Exit C) when the entrance at 2nd Ave (Exit B) is closed.
Affected lines:
1 Line - The Pioneer Square Station entrance on Cherry Street (Exit A) will experience a full closure of the stairs and escalator to allow for station maintenance beginning June 3 to June 7.
This closure will not impact the elevator at this entrance.
Please use the alternate entrances located on 3rd and James St (Exit B) or at Yesler Way (Exit C) during the entrance closure. - 1 Line will be experiencing disruptions from Sunday, May 12 through Sunday, June 23 due to planned maintenance activity.
During this time there will be service disruptions between Angle Lake and SeaTac/Airport Stations.
- Sunday, June 2 until June 21, end of service.
- Saturday, June 22 from start of service through end of service.
Beginning on June 2 until June 21, to end of service: Trains will share the Angle Lake-destined (southbound) platform between SeaTac/Airport and Angle Lake stations. A train will run between SeaTac/Airport and Angle Lake stations, operating every 16-20 minutes. All passengers who need to travel through SeaTac Station must transfer to another train.
During full Link closures between Angle Lake and SeaTac/Airport Stations, Sound Transit will not operate a traditional “Link bus shuttle”. Instead, Sound Transit will direct passengers to KCM RapidRide A Line. Link passengers who must transfer to the A Line will not need to pay fare during full closures of Link between Angle Lake and SeaTac/Airport Stations. Passengers must take the King County Metro Rapid Ride, A line to - Northgate Garage elevators will be temporarily out of service for scheduled maintenance from February 5 to July 1.
The Northgate Garage elevators will be temporarily out of service for scheduled maintenance from Monday, February 5 to Monday, July 1. Each elevator will be out of service for up to 5 hours each day, at different times from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. to resolve a water issue.
Please use the alternate elevator when the other is out of service and plan for extra time to navigate the garage.
