• Elevators at Symphony Station North Mezzanine to Benaroya Hall lobby service hours.
  
  The elevators at Symphony Station serving the north mezzanine to the Benaroya Hall lobby, near Exit A2, service hours for public use beginning Monday, November 18, 2024 are:
  
  3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, except holidays.
  
  The elevators are in service at these specified times. Please use alternate elevators when these elevators are not in service.
  
  On certain weekends and evenings, the Benaroya Hall Boeing Gallery will offer access to Symphony Station from 2.5 hours prior to any public event through its conclusion. See the Seattle Symphony’s calendar of Benaroya Hall events for dates and times of public events.
  
  
• Int'l Dist/Chinatown Station - Elevators 901 & 902 are unavailable until further notice due to planned maintenance. The elevators at Exit A serving the street (5th Ave S & S Jackson St) are out of service.
  
  To ride the 1 Line:
  
  1. Continue on 5th Ave S toward S King St.
  2. Take the elevator down to the platform.
  
  To exit the station:
  
  1. Go to the opposite end of the platform toward Exit B.
  2. Take the elevator up to the street.
• SeaTac Airport Station 2nd pedestrian bridge elevator construction begins January 8, 2025.
  
  Beginning January 8, 2025, through 2026, construction will take place at SeaTac Airport Station to add a new elevator to the pedestrian bridge. The new elevator will provide an additional option for passengers to travel from the pedestrian bridge to the pickup/drop off parking lot adjacent to the station. During construction, passengers can expect pedestrian walkways to occasionally be blocked or narrowed, and access to the current elevator periodically interrupted.
  
  During times where pedestrian walkways are blocked and elevator access is unavailable, passengers may catch the Rapid Ride A Line bus from SeaTac Airport Station to Tukwila International Boulevard Station in order to use the 1 Line.
  
  The pedestrian bridge from the station to the airport will be unaffected and available throughout the duration of this project.
  
  Beginning February 10, 2025 half of the passenger pick up/drop off area will be closed, as will some parts of the plaza near the stairs and existing elevator as equipment begins to come in for construction of the new elevator.
  
  Additional information about changes in elevator accessibility will be provided as it comes available.
• Lynnwood City Center Garage - Elevator 3 unavailable until further notice. See below for alternate route information.
  
  To ride the 1 Line:
  
  1. Take the adjacent elevator to the street level.
  2. Enter the station through the Exit A.
  3. Take the elevator up to the platform.
  
  To exit the station:
  
  1. Take the adjacent elevator to the street level.
  2. Exit the garage.
• Due to a technical issue, electronic rider alerts are experiencing delays in delivery to passengers. We are working with our vendor to correct this issue and will provide updates as soon as possible.
• 1 Line service is significantly reduced from Monday, April 14 through Wednesday, April 23 due to planned maintenance. Plan ahead for additional travel time.
  
  Planned maintenance is necessary at this time to replace a section of rail south of the International District/Chinatown Station.
  
  During this time trains are operating approximately every 12 minutes between Lynnwood City Center and Westlake and from Stadium to Angle Lake stations.
  
  Passengers must transfer trains at Westlake and Stadium stations to continue to downtown Seattle stations, where trains are running about every 25-30 minutes. All trains are sharing the northbound platform at Symphony, Pioneer Square, and International District/Chinatown stations. Please follow in station signage and train signage to ensure that you board the correct train.
  
  Passengers traveling from Snohomish County should consider other transit options, including the N Line, Route 510, and 515 on weekdays, to avoid the disruption entirely. For additional flexibility, Community Transit has added trips to the 515 during the tunnel closure.
  
  Passengers should plan for significant increases in travel time and consider alternate forms of transportation, especially local bus service for those traveling to a location between Westlake and Stadium stations. In addition to scheduled service, King County Metro will be providing a "downtown circulator" bus on weekdays during the evening commute to help reduce crowding.
