- 1 Line trains are sharing one track from SeaTac/Airport Station to Angle Lake Station from Sunday, June 2 at 10:01 a.m. through Friday, June 21 at 10:00 p.m. due to maintenance activity. Please board all trains on the platform to Angle Lake.
A train will run every 15 - 20 minutes between Angle Lake Station and SeaTac/Airport Station. All passengers who need to continue north from SeaTac/Airport Station must transfer at SeaTac/Airport Station using the Angle Lake platform to continue towards Northgate.
An alternative option for passengers would be taking KCM RapidRIde A line, which runs every 10 minutes and serves Angle Lake, SeaTac/Airport, and Tukwila International Blvd. stations. Link passengers who opt to take the A Line will need to pay for this fare during the single tracking operations.

Angle Lake - Sound Transit will begin fare checks on Link platforms beginning June 3, in downtown Seattle.
Starting June 3, Fare Ambassadors will be checking fares within the “fare paid zones,” in our downtown Seattle stations. - The Pioneer Square Station entrance at James Street (Exit B) will experience a full closure of the stairs and escalator to allow for new messaging sign installation from May 27 to May 31.
This closure will not impact the elevator at this entrance.
Please us the alternate entrances located on 3rd and Cherry St (Exit A) or Yesler (Exit C) during the entrance closure.

1 Line - University Street North Mezzanine elevators to Benaroya Hall lobby reduced service hours in 2024
The University Street elevators serving the north mezzanine to the Benaroya Hall lobby, near Exit A2, will have reduced hours for public use beginning Tuesday, January 2, 2024. The elevators will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, except holidays.
On certain weekends and evenings, the Benaroya Hall Boeing Gallery will offer access to University Street Station from 2.5 hours prior to any public event through its conclusion. See the Seattle Symphony’s calendar of Benaroya Hall events for dates and times of public events.
The elevators will be in service at the specified times. Please use alternate elevators when these elevators are not in service. - Late night rider information from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to Northgate Station.
For service to Northgate via downtown Seattle, from Seattle -Tacoma International Airport:
On weekdays and Saturday, the last train to Northgate Station with service through downtown Seattle departs SeaTac/Airport Station at about 11:58 p.m. All remaining trains will terminate at Beacon Hill Station.
On Sunday’s, the last train to Northgate Station with service through downtown Seattle departs SeaTac/Airport Station at about 11:13 p.m. All remaining trains will terminate at Beacon Hill Station.
Passengers are recommended to exit at Mount Baker Station and use the following King County Metro Routes to travel towards Northgate Station:
• Passengers requiring service to downtown Seattle, please take King County Metro Route 7.
• Passengers requiring service to Capitol Hill Station, please take King County Metro Route 7 to 3rd Avenue and Pike Street, then transfer to King County Metro Route 49 at Pike Street and 4th Avenue.
• Passengers requiring service to University of - New Variable Messaging Signs will be installed at University Washington Station beginning on Monday, April 8.
New signs will help better communicate service information to passengers. Information displayed on signs at the stations may not be viewable during installation and testing.
There should be minimal impact on how a passenger navigates through the station platform and entry to the station.
University Washington Station scheduled installation: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., 4/8 until 6/14.
This schedule may be subject to change and updates will be provided when available. - Because of construction activity, 1 line trains are ending at SeaTac/Airport. For service to Angle Lake, ride to SeaTac/Airport and change trains.
- 1 Line will be experiencing disruptions from Sunday, May 12 through Sunday, June 23 due to planned maintenance activity.
During this time there will be service disruptions between Angle Lake and SeaTac/Airport Stations and at Columbia City Stations:
- Saturday, June 1, from start of service through Sunday, June 2 until 10 a.m.
- Saturday, June 2 from 10 a.m. to until June 21.
- Saturday, June 22 from start of service through end of service.
During full Link closures between Angle Lake and SeaTac/Airport Stations, Sound Transit will not operate a traditional “Link bus shuttle”. Instead, Sound Transit will direct passengers to KCM RapidRide A Line. Link passengers who must transfer to the A Line will not need to pay fare during full closures of Link between Angle Lake and SeaTac/Airport Stations. Passengers must take the King County Metro Rapid Ride, A line to travel to between Angle Lake and SeaTac/Airport Stations and then transfer to the 1 Line to continue northbound.
Beginning June 2, at 10 a.m. until June 21, to end of service: Trains will share the Angle Lake-destined (southbound) platform - New Variable Messaging Signs will be installed at University Street Station beginning on Monday, May 13.

University Street Station scheduled installation: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., 5/13 until 7/12.

Several parking stalls at Northgate Station Garage are closed off until further notice due to water intrusion issues. These stalls will be closed off until water intrusion issues are resolved to minimize vehicle damage. - 1 Line trains are sharing one track from Angle Lake Station to SeaTac/Airport Station from Sunday, May 12 at 12:01 p.m. through end of service Friday, May 31 due to maintenance activity. Please board all trains on the platform to Northgate.

Angle Lake - Northgate Garage elevators will be temporarily out of service for scheduled maintenance from February 5 to July 1.
The Northgate Garage elevators will be temporarily out of service for scheduled maintenance from Monday, February 5 to Monday, July 1. Each elevator will be out of service for up to 5 hours each day, at different times from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. to resolve a water issue.
Please use the alternate elevator when the other is out of service and plan for extra time to navigate the garage.
