• Escalator upgrades at Int'l Dist/Chinatown Station
  
  Sound Transit continues to upgrade escalators at International District/Chinatown Station. See below for current service status during the improvement process.
  
  Exit B – to 5th Ave S & King St:
  
  • Escalator 903 from Lynnwood platform – out of service
  • Escalator 904 from Federal Way platform – out of service
  
  Passengers who need assistance while at a Sound Transit station, can call or text Security at (206) 398-5268.
• SeaTac Airport Station 2nd pedestrian bridge elevator construction begins January 8, 2025.
  
  Beginning January 8, 2025, through 2026, construction will take place at SeaTac Airport Station to add a new elevator to the pedestrian bridge. The new elevator will provide an additional option for passengers to travel from the pedestrian bridge to the pickup/drop off parking lot adjacent to the station. During construction, passengers can expect pedestrian walkways to occasionally be blocked or narrowed, and access to the current elevator periodically interrupted.
  
  During times where pedestrian walkways are blocked and elevator access is unavailable, passengers may catch the Rapid Ride A Line bus from SeaTac Airport Station to Tukwila International Boulevard Station in order to use the 1 Line.
  
  The pedestrian bridge from the station to the airport will be unaffected and available throughout the duration of this project.
  
  Beginning February 10, 2025 half of the passenger pick up/drop off area will be closed, as will some parts of the plaza near the stairs and existing elevator as equipment begins to come in for construction of the new elevator.
  
  Additional information about changes in elevator accessibility will be provided as it comes available.
• Capitol Hill Station elevator 1 out of service due to scheduled maintenance. The elevator at the E Denny Way exit serving the street, South Mezzanine, and platform is out of service. See below for alternate route information.
  
  To ride the 1 Line and 2 Line from the street:
  
  1. Go to Broadway Ave E and turn right toward E John St.
  2. Enter the station at the corner of E John St and Broadway Ave E.
  3. Take the street level elevator down to the North Mezzanine for elevator access to the platform.
  
  To ride the 1 Line and 2 Line from the South Mezzanine:
  
  1. Take the pedestrian walkway toward the west exit.
  2. Take elevator up to the street.
  3. Turn left on Broadway Ave E.
  4. Enter the station at the corner of E John St and Broadway Ave E.
  5. Take the street level elevator down to the North Mezzanine for elevator access to the platform.
  
  To exit the station from the platform:
  
  1. Go to the opposite end of the platform toward the E John St exit.
  2. Take the platform elevator to the North Mezzanine.
  3. Take the elevator at the North Mezzanine up to the street (E John St & Broadway Ave E).
• Mountlake Terrace Station - Elevator 2 unavailable until further notice due to maintenance.
  
  To ride the 1 Line:
  
  1. Go to the opposite end of the Station (cross 236th St NW).
  2. Take the elevator at Exit B to the platform.
  
  To exit the station:
  
  1. Go to the opposite end of the platform.
  2. Take the elevator to the street.
• On Thursday, April 23 from 11 p.m. until end of service, 1 Line trains will share one track at Kent Des Moines Station. Passengers traveling either direction must transfer at Angle Lake Station.
  
  At Kent Des Moines Station, please board all trains at the Federal Way platform.
  
  All trains from Federal Way and Lynnwood will terminate at Angle Lake Station. Passengers continuing past Angle Lake Station in either direction will need to transfer to another train.
  
  Please pay attention to station announcements and train announcements to ensure you board the correct train.
  
  Trains will run about every 30 minutes between Angle Lake Station and Federal Way Downtown Station.

• From April 28 - 30, from 10:30 p.m. to the end of service, shuttle buses will replace 2 Line trains between South Bellevue and Overlake stations.
  
  The last Lynnwood-bound 2 Line train serving all stations will depart from Downtown Redmond Station at 10:30 p.m., reaching Lynnwood City Center Station at 11:48 p.m.
  
  The last Redmond-bound 2 Line train serving all stations will depart Lynnwood City Center at 9:16 p.m., reaching Downtown Redmond Station at 10:33 p.m.
  
  Shuttle buses between South Bellevue Station and Overlake Station will run every 10 - 15 minutes.

• On April 24, a construction crew will close off the crosswalk at the NE corner of the 1st Ave NE and NE 103rd St intersection near Northgate Station. Pedestrians will need to cross at NE 103rd St. The crew is rebuilding an ADA ramp.
  
  Signs and barricades will be in place during work hours.

• Elevator outage at University of Washington Station. The elevator at the Husky Stadium exit serving the street (Montlake Blvd NE), pedestrian bridge, and platform is out of service.
  
  To ride the 1 Line:
  
  1. Take the elevator located directly across from the out of service unit down to the platform.
  
  To exit the station:
  
  1. Take the nearby elevator located directly across from the out of service unit up to the street or pedestrian bridge to Montlake Blvd NE.
• On Saturday, April 25, from 4 a.m. through end of service on Sunday, April 26, Shuttle buses will be replacing 1 Line trains between Rainier Beach Station and Sea/Tac Airport Station due to scheduled maintenance.
  
  1 Line trains will run from Lynnwood City Center Station to Rainier Beach Station and from Sea/Tac Airport Station to Federal Way Station. Tukwila Int'l Blvd Station will remain closed during this disruption.
  
  Trains arrivals will vary:
  
  -Trains from Lynnwood City Center to Int'l District/Chinatown will arrive every 5 - 10 minutes until 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, and until noon on Sunday, April 26, due to the 2 Line signal upgrade.
  -Trains from Int'l District/Chinatown to Rainier Beach will arrive every 10 minutes.
  -Trains from Sea/Tac Airport to Federal Way will arrive every 10 minutes.
  
  Evening train times will run normal weekend service: Trains will arrive every 12 minutes from 9-11 p.m. and 16 minutes from 11 p.m. to last train.
  
  At Rainier Beach Station, please board all trains on the platform to Lynnwood City Center Station.
  
  At Sea/Tac Airport Station, please board all trains on the platform to Federal Way Downtown Station.
  
  Please follow in-station signage and train signage to ensure that you board the correct train as platforms may change due to operational needs.
  
  From Rainier Beach to SeaTac/Airport station, 1 Line Shuttle buses will arrive about every 10 minutes. Please use 1 Line Shuttle stop signs to identify where to get on and off buses.
