- Elevator outage at International District/Chinatown Station. The elevator at Exit A serving the street (5th Ave S & S Jackson St) and Angle Lake platform is out of service.
To ride the 1 Line to Angle Lake:
1. Continue on 5th Ave S toward S King St.
2. Take the elevator down to the Angle Lake platform.
To exit the station:
1. Go to the opposite end of the platform toward Exit B.
2. Take the elevator up to the street. - University Street North Mezzanine elevators to Benaroya Hall lobby availability reduced for 2024
The University Street elevators serving the north mezzanine to the Benaroya Hall lobby, near Exit A2, hours will be reduced for public use beginning Tuesday, January 2, 2024. The elevators will be available only from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, except holidays.
On some weekends and evenings, the Benaroya Hall Boeing Gallery will offer access to University Street Station from 2.5 hours prior to any public event through its conclusion. See Seattle Symphony’s calendar of Benaroya Hall events for dates and times of public events.
The elevators will only be in service at the specified times. Please use alternate elevators when these elevators are not in service. - Mount Baker Station elevator outage. The elevator serving the street (27th Ave S) and Northgate platform is out of service.
To Northgate, passengers requiring elevator service must go to another station.
To ride the 1 Line:
1. Take the elevator down to the Angle Lake platform.
2. Take the 1 Line to Columbia City Station.
3. At Columbia City Station, transfer to the Northgate platform.
Passengers requiring elevator service CANNOT exit from the Northgate platform.
To exit the station:
1. Board the 1 Line.
2. Take the 1 Line to International District/Chinatown Station.
3. At International District/Chinatown Station, use the elevators to transfer to the Angle Lake platform.
4. Take the 1 Line to return Mount Baker Station.
5. Passengers can exit Mount Baker Station using the Angle Lake platform elevator.
The elevator serving the Angle Lake platform is operating. - Elevator outage at Capitol Hill Station. The elevator at the E Denny Way exit serving the street, South Mezzanine, and platform is out of service. See below for alternate route information.
To ride the 1 Line from the street:
1. Go to Broadway Ave E and turn right toward E John St.
2. Enter the station at the corner of E John St and Broadway Ave E.
3. Take the street level elevator down to the North Mezzanine for elevator access to the platform.
To ride the 1 Line from the South Mezzanine:
1. Take the pedestrian walkway toward the west exit.
2. Take elevator up to the street.
3. Turn left on Broadway Ave E.
4. Enter the station at the corner of E John St and Broadway Ave E.
5. Take the street level elevator down to the North Mezzanine for.
To exit the station from the platform:
1. Go to the opposite end of the platform toward the E John St exit.
2. Take the platform elevator to the North Mezzanine.
3. Take the elevator at the North Mezzanine up to the street (E John St & Broadway Ave E) elevator access to the platform. - Northgate Station Garage Partial Parking Closure
Several parking stalls at Northgate Station Garage are closed off until further notice due to water intrusion issues. These stalls will be closed off until water intrusion issues are resolved to minimize vehicle damage. - Planned maintenance at International District/ Chinatown Station beginning March 11.
Beginning March 11, work will take place in the plaza above the International District/ Chinatown Station to clean and install bird mitigation on structures and signage. Work is scheduled to last about 5 weeks, until April 12 and the work will be completed throughout the plaza level. During 1 Line service hours, station entrances, exits, and elevators will not be impacted. Walkways through the plaza will be temporarily constrained by the work areas, however passenger impact will be minimal. - Elevator outage at SeaTac Airport Station. The elevator at the International Blvd exit serving the street and pedestrian bridge to mezzanine is out of service. Elevators to the platform are in service for entering from the airport terminal walkway.
Passengers requiring elevator service from International Blvd must board at another station.
To ride the 1 Line:
1. Cross International Blvd using the crosswalk at S 176th St to the King County Metro bus stop.
2. Ride the southbound RapidRide A-Line to International Blvd & S 200th St for Angle Lake Station.
3. Street level elevators at Angle Lake Station are located on 28th Ave S.
Passengers requiring elevator service to International Blvd CANNOT exit from the SeaTac/Airport mezzanine.
To exit the station:
1. Board the 1 Line toward Angle Lake.
2. Exit the 1 Line at Angle Lake Station and take the elevators down to the street (28th Ave S & S 200th St).
3. Continue on S 200th St toward International Blvd.
4. Turn left on International Blvd and continue until you reach the King County Metro bus stop.
5. Take the northbound RapidRide A-Line to S 176th & International Blvd to return to SeaTac/Airport Station. - New variable messaging signs will be installed at Westlake Station beginning Monday, March 18.
New signs will help better communicate service information to passengers. Information displayed on signs at the station may not be viewable during installation and testing. Sign installation at Westlake Station is scheduled from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday to Friday, 3/18 until 05/10 and is expected to have minimal impact on how passengers navigate the station platform. This schedule may be subject to change and updates will be provided when available. - Passenger information for late night 1 Line service to and from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
For service to Northgate via downtown Seattle, from Seattle -Tacoma International Airport:
On weekdays and Saturday, the last through train to Northgate Station with service to downtown Seattle departs SeaTac/Airport Station at about 11:44 p.m.
On Sundays, the last through train to Northgate Station with service to downtown Seattle departs SeaTac/Airport Station at about 11:14 p.m.
For service to Angle Lake via downtown Seattle, to Seattle -Tacoma International Airport:
On weekdays and Saturday, the last train with service to SeaTac/Airport Station departs Northgate Station at about 12:28 a.m.
On Sundays, the last train with service to SeaTac/Airport Station departs Northgate Station at about 11:28 p.m.
